I am also someone who is drawn to the role playing elements of the series.Īs many of you will probably know, it's taken some pretty serious suspension of disbelief along the way to patch the holes left by the mechanical design, from a role playing perspective. I am an AoW veteran and seasoned edgelord, so I have spent many hours playing as the coolest faction, the undead of course. Amid all of the criticisms and suggestions for the design direction of AOW4, I wanted to advocate for one element I felt was implemented exceptionally well, both in flavor and, more debatably, mechanically. ![]()
